The Pet Whisperer -Show #19
Arrrooo fellow pets and humans! This week we have a VERY special guest with us on Animal Talk, Naturally!. We have Dr. Stephen Blake, DVM aka The Pet Whisperer! He has a soothing voice so that’s why I used my chillin’ by the refrigerator photo, hehe! Seriously though, this was a grrreat show! There was a bit of technical difficulties so if you hear a glitch and wonder what happened to his explanation of why he chose veterinary medicine rather than continuing into human medicine, well that’s the problem and we didn’t re-record what he said. First mom was bounced out of the recording room and she was the one recording -HEH! Then Jeannie had the flu and she didn’t even notice, double HEH! So we lost that portion but you can go to Dr. Blake’s website and READ about his decision AND get his book -it’s that simple! So here is what they discussed:
Dr. Blake shared all his wisdom of over 30 years in veterinary practice -we covered a LOT of ground. Like why he switched to mostly holistic care, gemmology, bovine colostrum, aromatherapy, his traveling adventures, his theories. He talked about reductionism verses quantum thinking. The ABCs of pet care (not what you think either), what to feed us obligate carnivores (canine) and carnivores (feline), and some touchy subjects too. So just listen in and hear the wisdom, WOOF!
Our guest:
Dr. Stephen Blake, aka The Pet Whisperer Veterinarian for over 30 years and practicing alternative care for 25 of those years. Visit his website and also sign up for his newsletter as he shares all his wisdom and adventures with you!
