Eight Tips to Help You Keep Your Pets Tail Waggin’ Happy and Safe Through Hot Summer Months

By Kim BloomerNow that spring is ending and summer is drawing ever near we’ll want to remain extra diligent in keeping our pets happy and healthy during the heat of the summer. Here are a few tips for keeping them safe and happy during the heat of the summer:

1. Make sure that your pets have plenty of fresh, pure clean water DAILY. This does not include water from the tap but pure, chlorine-free, fluoride-free water if at all possible. If you do use the reverse osmosis water that removes ALL toxins, make sure to add back in much needed minerals to your pets’ water AND yours. 2. Never exercise your dog during the heat of the day. While you may be able to throw on some shorts and a hat and stay cool, your dog has a normal temperature of 101.6 PLUS the added heat of a fur coat. Leave them at home if you plan to exercise in the day. The best time for your dogs is early, early morning to get their daily exercise. [Read more →]

Arrrooo fellow pets and humans! Wow we talked about some grrreat things on our latest Animal Talk, Naturally! podcast!! That’s why I’m all chilled out bepaws we talked about animal accupressure with our guests Amy Snow & Nancy Sidonis. They even helped Mom with getting me some aaaahh relief healing from my arthritis and Jeannie with an issue with one of her dogs! They are such grrreat women, I’d love to know them in person, WOOF! Maybe one day so they could accupressure me hehe. So here is the synopsis for this week’s show:

1. We announced the updates on Mercy the young pitbull dog who was tortured and died and also the 4 month old Mooie who was also tortured and died. Mercy’s killer has been apprehended so please sign the petitions for both of these dogs to help their killers stay behind bars!
2. We announced our wonderful guests Amy Snow & Nancy Sidonis
3. They shared with us all about accupressure in animals -a vibrational medicine -, their mission, their class schedules, their books, and their spring time warm up for animals.
