This week on Animal Talk, Naturally! we spoke with Maggie Wright, African Grey expert and author of African Grey Parrots: A Complete Pet Owner’s Manual. Maggie is also the founder of the Grey Play Round Table Magazine, founded in 1994, which has been restaged into Nature’s Corner Magazine to include ALL critters!

Kim learned a lot from Maggie’s book and Jeannie had a blast just sharing all about the Greys with Maggie since she has one named Nick. Maggie has THREE African Greys and you can hear them in the background all through this show whenever Maggie speaks. They were competing with her for their chance to be on the show! So here is this week’s synopsis:

1. Understanding the nature of African Greys
2. What to do BEFORE you bring home your African Grey
3. Getting to know your Grey
4. Teaching your Grey to eat a balanced diet
5. Extra tidbits and stories Maggie shared with our audience
