He Gave Me a Mission
Wonder what I’d be up to without his loving, furry inspirational presence in my life…
NOW PLAYING: Still Wild: The Soul of a Horse - Show #159

The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the hold of the cobra, and the young child put his hand into the viper's nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. ~Isaiah 11:6-9, NIV
But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you. Which of these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind. ~ Job 12:7-10, NIV
All truth passes through three stages:
First, it is Ridiculed.
Second, it is Violently Opposed.
Third, it is Accepted as being Self-Evident.
~Arthur Schopenhauer
Centuries from now it will not matter about the house we lived in or how much money we made in a lifetime.....but the world may be better because we helped some of God's little animals on this earth during our time here. ~Unknown
Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened.
~Anatole France
While fear may drive us to survive it is love that enables us to thrive. ~ Author unknown

“The best protection against evil is a heart bent toward good; seeking God in all things.” - John Fischer (A Purpose Driven Life Daily Devotional - inspiration for the title of this article).
Darkness has crept into the world of animals and animal protection over the years, with 2007 shaping up to be the darkest yet. Those of us who love our animals and want to continue to live with them in companionship (rather than banish them to a “gaze upon at a distance place,” as the animal rights movement would have us do), are experiencing a rude awakening to the true dark agenda of this movement. It is this awakening that has gotten pet lovers, pet owners and breeders moving, speaking out, and taking action. We’re out of the gates a bit slow but like Phar Lap the racehorse, we can come from way behind and stride out front to win this race and leave them in the dust! [Read more →]

This is a great story from God Thoughts Wired:
Consider the Baby Zebra*
Brad Reiches
Jan 14, 2007
“Observe how the lilies of the field grow…
A completely blind zebra had the good fortune of wandering through the front door of a South African eye doctor who was able to identify the problem and restore the animal’s sight. Dr. Danie Louw of Nelspruit was at his home over the Christmas holidays when the baby zebra foal strayed from a surrounding nature reserve and literally stumbled into Dr. Louw’s home. [Read more →]
