Each month Lisa Ross-Williams interviews holistic horse care specialists; shows are recorded and available for listeners on naturalhorsetalk.com. Visitors can download shows any time of the day or night at no charge. For naturalhorsetalk.com, the webcast is one more step forward in creating a national network of natural-minded horse people.

“Our website is one of the most complete holistic horse care resources available on the web,” says Lisa Ross-Williams who created the site in 1999. “Our goal is to promote holistic horse care through knowledge. We do that through the website with print articles, news updates, helpful links, book reviews and specialty products. The one of a kind, free webcast “If Your Horse Could Talk,” is an innovative way to learn from the top experts such as Linda Tellington-Jones, Pete Ramey and Linda Parelli. We cover topics from nutrition to natural hoof trimming and everything in between.”

Lisa is no newcomer to the holistic horse care arena. Horse crazy as a child, Lisa re-entered the horse world as an adult, taking on a five-year-old Polish Arab whom she says, “Had pretty much given up on humans and wasn’t afraid to show it.” As she began looking for horse training information and becoming familiar with techniques like Parelli Natural Horsemanship, she realized all the “normal” horse care practices seemed so unnatural for horses. It was then that she began her quest for a better approach and has dedicated herself to working hands-on with her horses and others, conducting extensive research and gaining knowledge in a variety of areas. She adds to her extensive holistic horse care knowledge by participating in clinics, seminars and courses including natural horsemanship, natural hoof care, dentistry, equine bodywork, homeopathy, iridology, use of essential oils and nutrition. Lisa has also earned her degree in Environmental Plant Science and has completed the Basic Veterinary Homeopathy course through the British Institute of Homeopathy.

In addition to creating naturalhorsetalk.com website and “If Your Horse Could Talk” webcast, Lisa is also Pro-On-Call for the extensive site, www.allabouthorses.com, and senior editor of the national Equine Wellness Magazine, a publication helping horse owners to make informed decisions.
