Animal Talk Naturally at National Dog Day 2007
Animal Talk Naturally was at National Dog Day on August 26, 2007 in Malibu, CA which took place at the CalAmigos Ranch. It was a cloudy day which was good so it wasn’t as hot as it normally is in Southern Cal. I had the pleasure of sharing a booth with Dr. Paula Terifaj founder of both the Dogie Bag AND Roverlution - and we sang together lol!

I also met Jon Provost who will be an upcoming guest on ATN Gone Wild.

Texas to Nix Veterinary Discretion in Rabies Rules
Veterinary professionals, pet owners and animal lovers that recently petitioned Texas Department of Health Services to grant medical exemption for sick and senior dogs and cats are called to weigh in on changes proposed to TAC 169.21 - 169.34, rules for the control and prevention of rabies.
Austin, TX (PR-WEB)– On September 1, 2007, The Texas Department of Health Services opened a 30 day period for public comment on proposed revisions to laws governing the control and prevention of rabies. Proposed changes to TAC 169.21 - 169.34 are available for review in the August 31, 2007 edition of the Texas Register.
As written, the proposed revisions take a broad swipe at clarifying and condensing rabies laws, including guidelines that were enacted in 2003 by the state legislature to extend the interval between rabies revaccination for domestic dogs and cats.
