The Mysteries of Dolphins

I recently had the pleasure of reading a wonderful book by scientists, Dr. Kathleen Dudzinski & Dr. Toni Frohoff, Dolphin Mysteries. Both have been studying dolphins for over 20 years – which is hard to believe when you see how young and athletic these two women look. Of course that is necessary considering they spend a great deal of time IN the water studying the dolphin family – which is very diverse as you’ll discover when you pick up a copy of the amazing book. Rather than give away the whole book, suffice it to say that while it is VERY scientific in its approach these two scientists are also VERY passionate about their respect and love of these wonderful marine mammals.
What I appreciated is not only the hard facts and logic they present, but their great concern for the preservation of these beautiful creatures AND their habitat the ocean. They remind us throughout of our responsibility to respect these animals and their home.
