Dr. Jeannie Thomason

Short bio:
Jeannie Thomason, V.N.D., is a doctor of veterinary naturopathy, certified in small animal nutrition & aromatherapy with 30 years of practical experience in animal health. Dr. Jeannie has worked with animals holistically since 1984. Having been a licensed veterinary technician and later going on to earning her doctorate in veterinary naturopathy from Kingdom College Of Natural Health where she is now an adjunct professor, she is qualified and adept at consulting and educating. Dr. Jeannie has written numerous peer reviewed articles which appear in Animal Wellness magazine, Natural Horse, and in the National Breed Magazine for The Boston Terrier Club Of America, Coast To Coast. She is a host (along with her friend and colleague, Dr. Kim Bloomer) for the popular internet radio show, Animal Talk Naturally and is currently working on her first book. A natural rearing breeder of Champion Boston Terriers and founder of the Natural Rearing Breeders Association, she is known to colleagues and friends as one who “walks her talk,” Dr. Jeannie has positively influenced thousands of animal owners, sharing her knowledge of natural and holistic animal care.

Dr.Jeannie’s background includes education, research, training, and experience in animal nutrition, anatomy, physiology, psychology and behavior, toxin-free environmental living, herbology, aromatherapy, massage, flower remedies, and prayer. Dr. Jeannie is well versed in the preventive, natural health care of animals through proper species appropriate nutrition and other natural modalities – assisting you to give your pets the long healthy lives they deserve by being a part of your dog’s health care team.
