WHAT IS VETERINARY NATUROPATHY?
Many people ask me what in the world IS a Veterinary Naturopath?
In brief, term ‘Naturopath’ describes a practitioner who applies natural therapy. Our spectrum includes the simple, natural use of nutrition, water, exercise, sunshine, etc. It includes approved natural healing practices such as Homeopathy, Herbal Medicine, Massage, etc., in prevention and when needed healing of our animals/pets.
The principles of Naturopathy were first used by the Hippocratic School of Medicine in about 400B.C. The Greek philosopher Hippocrates believed in viewing the whole person in regards to finding a cause of disease, and using the laws of nature to induce cure. It was from this original school of thought that Naturopathy takes its principles.
“Remedies from chemicals will never stand in favorable comparison with the products of Nature, the living cell of a plant, the final result of the rays of the sun, the mother of all life.” ~ Thomas A. Edison
